1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Tayla May Designs.

“Client” refers to the individual or entity purchasing products or services from the Company.

“Products” refers to all drapes, blinds, shades, curtains, hardware, and accessories supplied by the Company.

“Services” refers to measuring, consultation, installation, maintenance, and any other services offered by the Company.
2. Quotations & Pricing

2.1 All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Pricing may change if measurements, materials, or design specifications are altered after the quotation is issued.

2.3 All prices exclude taxes, delivery, and installation fees unless explicitly stated.
3. Orders
-
3.1 Orders are considered confirmed only upon receipt of:
-
A signed quotation/approval, and
-
Required deposit payments.

3.2 Custom-made products (including made-to-measure drapes and blinds) cannot be cancelled or modified once production has started.
4. Payments
-
4.1 A deposit of 50% is required to secure all custom orders.

4.2 The remaining balance is due 7 days after installation/delivery.

4.3 Tayla May Designs reserves the right to withhold delivery or installation until payment is received in full.

4.4 Late payments may incur additional fees.
5. Measuring & Installation

5.1 The Company offers professional measuring services; however, if the Client provides their own measurements, the Company is not responsible for incorrect sizes.

5.2 Installation dates are estimated and may vary due to supplier delays, availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

5.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring installation areas are accessible, free of obstruction, and safe for installers.
6. Product Variations

6.1 Minor variations in color, texture, grain, or pattern may occur due to fabric and material manufacturing processes.

6.2 Such variations are not considered defects.

6.3 Fabric dye lots may vary slightly from samples shown.
7. Delivery Times

7.1 Estimated lead times typically range from 2 to 6 weeks depending on product type.

7.2 Tayla May Designs is not liable for delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or circumstances beyond its control.
8. Warranty

8.1 Products include a manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise specified.

8.2 Warranty does not cover:
-
Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage

Improper cleaning or handling
-
Damage caused by pets, insects, or environmental conditions

8.3 Installation warranty (if applicable) applies only to workmanship and does not cover product defects.

9. Returns & Refunds

9.1 Custom-made products are non-refundable except where required by consumer protection laws.

9.2 Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
10. Liability

10.1 Tayla May Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10.2 The maximum liability of the Company shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the product or service in question.
11. Maintenance & Care

11.1 The Client is responsible for following all care instructions provided.

11.2 Failure to follow recommended maintenance may void warranties.
12. Access & Property Damage

12.1 The Client must provide clear access for installation.

12.2 Tayla May Designs is not responsible for structural issues (e.g., weak walls, old plaster) that may affect installation outcomes.

12.3 The Client agrees to notify the Company of any wiring, plumbing, or hazards in the installation area.
13. Privacy

13.1 Tayla May Designs will collect personal information solely for the purpose of quoting, supplying, or installing products.

13.2 Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for order fulfillment.
14. Acceptance
By placing an order with Tayla May Designs, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
